Load testing and lifting appliances

Proof load tests with water bags and certified weights for davits, cranes, gangways and lifting points, with thorough examinations and certificates.

Why it matters

Davits, cranes and lifting points carry loads over people's heads. A proof load test shows that the structure, the brake and the wire can take more than they will ever be asked to, and it gives the surveyor a certificate instead of an assumption.

We bring water bags or certified weights sized for the job and calibrated load cells, and we plan the test around your cargo operations.

A vessel name, an IMO number and an ETA are enough to get a quote moving. Attach last year's certificates if you have them.
