Questions
What the result tells you
- What does "Certificate Verified" mean?
- It means the certificate exists in our system exactly as shown: issued by Vertex Safety B.V., for that vessel and equipment, by that technician, on that date. Always read the "Valid until" date as well; a genuine certificate can still be out of date.
- The page says "Certificate Not Found".
- Check that you scanned the code on the certificate itself, or typed the number exactly as printed. If it still fails, send us a photo of the certificate and we will look into it.
- My certificate has no QR code.
- Older certificates and documents issued before our current system may not carry one. E-mail us the certificate number and we will confirm it for you.
- Can I download the original PDF?
- Yes. The verification page lets you download the certificate PDF straight from our server, so you are not relying on a copy that has been forwarded along the way.
