Underwater inspection and hull cleaning

In-water surveys with video for class and flag, hull cleaning, propeller polishing and small underwater repairs, coordinated while the ship is in port.

Why it matters

An in-water survey can replace a dry-dock inspection, and a clean hull and propeller save fuel from the day the work is done. Both need the right divers, the right equipment and the port's permission, lined up for the hours the ship is alongside.

We plan the job, arrange the permits and work with experienced commercial diving teams, so you deal with one contact and receive one report.

What we do

Scope of work

  1. 01

    In-water surveys

Hull, rudder, propeller, sea chests and anodes filmed and photographed for class or flag, with the surveyor following live where required.

  2. 02

    Hull cleaning and propeller polishing

Removal of fouling and polishing of the propeller, within the port's rules on in-water cleaning.

  3. 03

    Small underwater repairs

Anode renewal, sea chest grating work and blanking of openings, so repairs can happen without a dock.

  4. 04

    Reports

Video, annotated photos and a written report that class and your technical team can work from.

What you get

  • Survey video and annotated photo report
  • Cleaning or repair report with before and after images
  • Due dates in your customer portal

Rules we work to

  • Class rules for in-water surveys
  • Port authority rules for underwater work and hull cleaning

References are summaries for planning. The current text of each instrument, your flag's interpretation and the maker's instructions always apply.

A vessel name, an IMO number and an ETA are enough to get a quote moving. Attach last year's certificates if you have them.
